Today my students have started to write about real-life social justice issues that took place in Turkey.
- Before the class, I prepared five different outlines on real-life social justice issues in Turkey.
- I gave one outline out to each student.
- The students wrote the first drafts using these outlines.
- The students read the essays of their peers and identified the mistakes and strengths of the essays.
- The students revised their essays according to the feedback they received.
Session 4 Lesson Plan
It made me very happy to see students' interest and enthusiasm for research on these stories. It was especially satisfying for me to watch their development process and observe their changes in the process. 😇
